: About the Designer :

Kerry A. Bogert is a former student of Visual Communications and Graphic Design turned stay-at-home Mom of 3. She is married to her High School sweetheart, Ron, and together with their sons, Jacob and Andrew, and daughter, Lauren, they have set down roots in Webster, NY, just outside Rochester, NY.  

In December 2003, Kerry discovered a passion for The Arts outside of computer graphics with jewelry design. "I really love getting to work with my hands and creating things. Taking bits and pieces of stuff and making something beautiful is really rewarding," says Kerry.

In September 2005, Kerry launched her lampwork glass beads on Ebay, in her online Glass Gallery, and now her Bead Box. Working with glass has become an exciting path for this designer and she hopes to continue exploring this medium for many years to come. She is an active member of the cyber artist community Wetcanvas.com and Lampwork Etc.com.

In May 2006, Kerry started spreading her knowledge, teaching at local art studios and in private classes. As a self taught jewelry designer, the opportunity to teach others is a daunting task but an exciting one. Kerry is thrilled to show others her skills and hopes to see you in one of her classes soon.

Kerry's work has been published in several major jewelry making magazines. She was also the July 2006 Featured Artist at TheAnnealerMagazine.com. Check them out!!
